Undicilandia is an independent italian publisher that I had the pleasure to work with lately. I helped the company to build a website and create an in-out collaborative system based on WordPress and Facebook. My role as coordinator brought together Alessandro Raimondo for the advance developing of the website and the editorial staff creating a very simple but vast website. The idea is to make it grow thanks to the collaboration of the people who have been published in the magazine and to build a strong trend setter for the local community.

Stilgraf s.r.l. is an italian printing company that works with a very high quality standard. The company can offer the best european papers bringing the jobs to the next level. I was really shocked when I saw how their new calendar was made of: extreme fully detailed in print, materials and package.

I’ve design the website on a very classic grid but I’ve tried to make it look less solid and aligned. So I’ve worked with many columns on every page giving the effect of indentation with a little help of gutters too. (Some people ask me if I was shooting random column with though! :))

Francesco Cancarini website

After 5 years from building his brand identity, Francesco Cancarini asks me to change the old full Flash website I had done. He came very resolved with the idea of having a simple and minimal portfolio and a photo orientated blog. After 20 minutes meeting I had it all clear.

I designed the website from the CMS (wordpress) structure and last I styled it with a CSS editor. I was pretty sure about what Francesco wanted to show him directly the functioning website instead of the graphic layouts. And it worked! Minor fixes and some extra css “fun” and I published.

This is an italian food blog that offers everyday a suggestion of healthy dishes; well combined and balanced.
I had a very nice experience designing this blog. I aimed to keep it simple though there are lots of categories and topics using a strong grind and an effective typesetting.

I’ve recently developed a brand new HTML5 wordpress theme for Samuel Baur, from Audiokonzept studio (Bern, Switzerland). I’m very satisfied of this website because it’s very simple and clean and has many little details to be taken care. It runs on a CMS and it’s updated entirely by the client.

Roberto Abbadati 2010 website

After almost 5 years I have re-designed Roberto Abbadati (the Chef) website. We had a long run together and we shared precious professional experiences: food vs. typography, knifes vs. html.

Since then I’m working on his visual communication, making different sort of thing, such business cards, menu graphic design and branding. This year I’ve rebuilt his brand strategy and made it more straight and simple: only three leading services (catering, consulting and teaching), plus a special “food project” every 6 months (soon we’ll launch it, stay tuned). I’ve merged his newsletter and news into an integrated blog and we have also explored some social networks (facebook, linkedin and issue): he knows so many crazy stuff it’s a pity not share! We decided not to spend even one cent in advertising and develop a solid SEO and gain something day by day (no rush in the kitchen!?).

I’ve used wordpress as web platform and I can tell is a better and better tool for web design. It made me want to develop a Creative Commons theme to use for my new thinkless website and share. I also wanted to make it mobile ready and follow the w3c standars.
